Ashley Gonzalez

Public Safety Engagement Manager

Ashley Gonzalez brings more than a decade of expertise in emergency communications planning, interoperability, and multiagency coordination to Bridge 4 Public Safety. Having worked for the City of Houston and Booz Allen Hamilton, alongside the Department of Defense, DHS FEMA, and CISA, she has supported federal, state, local, and tribal agencies across the globe — leading emergency communications planning for national-level events including Super Bowl LI, the 2017 World Series, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as numerous disaster response operations across the U.S. and Pacific territories.

Her work has directly contributed to advancing national emergency communications policy and operational readiness, driving strategic initiatives and training programs that strengthen continuity of operations and ensure first responders and government agencies can stay connected when it matters most. Fueled by a deep passion for interoperability and an unwavering dedication to the men and women who protect our nation, Ashley believes that seamless communication is not just a technical necessity — it is a lifesaving mission.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University and multiple ICS All-Hazards credentials for the state of Texas including Communications Leader (COML), Communications Technician (COMT), Incident Communications Center Manager (INCM) and Radio Operator (RADO). She also assisted DHS in developing the IT Service Leader (ITSL) curriculum. A former SAFECOM Public Safety At-Large Member and NCSWIC committee contributor, Ashley is committed to advancing the interoperability and resilience of public safety communications across the nation.
